Mysterious Travels: Weird Las Vegas: The Mob Museum

If you ever get tired of being on the Las Vegas Strip, which I find that time comes quickly when your gambling budget bottoms out, head on over to Fr13062316_10156928748895615_2011263219445095733_nemont Street.  In between the street performers, vintage casinos and glitz and glam of the old Las Vegas Strip, there is a quaint building, quite unmenacing where you can dig deep into the roots of what made Las Vegas, Las Vegas… The Mob Museum.

While the entry fee to the Mob Museum is a bit hefty at a little under $30 a person, it is well worth going to once.

Deep in this museum, you can view the actual St Valentine’s Day Massacre Wall.  They took it brick by brick, and moved it to this location.  If you look closely, you may even be able to spot some blood spatters and bullet holes on it, which they have the bullet holes conveniently marked.13220949_10156928748985615_7280558032795569556_n13230210_10156928749055615_7465018155437120718_n

Some of the neatest things I saw came at the end of the tour, right before the gift shop.  They had a small display case of a few different mob related costumes, including ones from Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire.
