Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo 2018: My Experience

I have been to a lot of Expos and conventions over the years, but there is something to be said for a food expo.  Maybe it’s my love of food, maybe it’s just that everyone is there to have a good time and you can actually tell it.  At any rate, I love going to them and trying all the different foods and meeting new people.

I went to the Gluten Free Allergy Friendly Expo over this past weekend, and I had a blast, as usual.

There were different types of vendors this year which was really cool.  They were just as eager to tell you about their wonderful gluten free products, as well as what sets them apart from the other companies in the room.  Many of them had live samplings of their hot dishes including everything from pizzas to grilled cheeses.

Those who did not have live samples had plenty of samples for you to take home with you and try later, and they were not shy about getting their products into your hands!  If there was a product you sampled you liked enough to want to purchase, they all had their products available for purchase at the show, and most of them were at a discounted price since they don’t have the overhead of sending to stores or shipping to your house!

I love going to these type of events because I get a chance to learn about new foods and try them before I buy.  Everyone has different tastes and I love being able to talk to the owners and talk about the products in person with people who have a passion for food like myself.

Aside from the food, they also had a wide variety of gluten free body care, supplements, and essential oils, as well as some health and wellness booths as well.  They even had a booth where you could get a free health screening, detox your feet, as well as other things.

Thank you once again to everyone over at the Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo for allowing me to be a blogger for the third year.  Super looking forward to next year!

Hope to see y’all there next year!
