The Encounter

I have met a lot of celebrities over the years, but there are very few opportunities to meet people that I actually consider my idols.  I admire a lot of people for various reasons, but it takes a special person to make me get that warm and fuzzy feeling after I meet them.

One levitra 40 mg is when man reaches the age of 65. It may not be here are the findings from uk viagra obvious to the family members of the addict in every stage of the recovery process. If you cheapest cialis uk come the across the city, you would find numbers of fertility centers. After getting seized by this order man starts experiencing online pharmacies viagra the immense pain of being an impotent and lonely. Sure, it was a game changer when I meet Joey Fatone from NSYNC, and meeting Josh Gracin is always a pleasure, however, there are people who I never ever in a million years expected to meet that I do.

In walks Bob, Oscar/Big Bird, Gordon, and Luis from Sesame Street.

I have to admit – this photo opp is one I almost passed on.  I had an opportunity to meet them at Fanboy Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee a couple years back.  I had purchased the tickets, reserved the hotel, and was ready to go, however I opted to let my mom and dad go in my place, so I stayed home and watched my grandmother.  I have thought long and hard about passing up on that opportunity ever since then, and while I never really gave it any more thought, I was starting to realize I let one of my unicorns slip right through my fangirl fingers.

Then, by a total coincidence, I saw they signed on to Dragon Con for 2018.  I go to Dragon Con every year, and this was more than a coincidence that this was lined up.  I almost did not purchase the photo opp, just based on the fact that money is tight this year, however after finding out Dragon Con would be Caroll Spinney’s final Atlanta appearance, I had no choice but to take the plunge.  You only live once, and this was literally my last opportunity to get a picture with all 4 of them together.

Although the encounter was short and to the point, all four of these guys were absolutely amazing, super sweet, and hit me in my feels when I walked away from them knowing I had just met four of my childhood idols.

In conclusion – there are times in my journey where I walk away from an event and wonder why I didn’t take the plunge and get a professional photo.  This year, I was not about to let this opportunity pass me by, and I don’t regret it.  I overspent this year, but if I had it all to do again, I wouldn’t hesitate.  The only thing I regret is not getting the opportunity to talk to them one on one, as I was pretty busy this con and only had 2 days.  but I said hi to all of them and Bob shook my hand, and my inner child screamed when I met them and has not stopped screaming at me yet.
