OUR JOURNEY …
Scrub Bugs have been a labor of love for over two years now. My “aha” moment came when watching my daughter brush her teeth. Using a tool to brush her teeth made all the difference. Why don’t we use a tool to clean our hands? Surgeons – the best hand washers in the world – use a tool to help rid their hands of dirt and germs. Why not kids?
Thousands of hand washes and hundreds of prototypes later the first Scrub Bug was born.
I am so very fortunate to have an amazing team, test panel of active kids, and passionate parents who have dedicated their time (and their hands) to helping me develop a product that truly makes a difference.

The Scrub Bugs team has a great deal of experience in successfully bringing new products to market for both Fortune 500 companies and start-up ventures. We know there are ups and downs, but we also know there are always creative solutions to be found.- Research and Validation:
The consumer is our guiding light. We have spent 2 years watching kids wash their hands with our product. We have developed prototypes, tested them, listened to feedback, and optimized the design. We have also worked with an independent lab to measure and verify that Scrub Bugs truly make a significant difference.- Manufacturing: We have an amazing manufacturing partner. Tooling development and testing have begun and off tool samples have been produced. We have worked through all issues identified to date and are well prepared for the final tool optimization and a successful first full production run.
- Personal Commitment: This product is our passion and we have invested a significant amount of time and money into bringing it to life. If we run into an issue, we will not give up. We will quickly communicate what it is and our plan to resolve it.
