Got Minor Aches | Salonpas Review

salonpas-all
I am fibromyalgia sufferer. Fortunately, the pain does not debilitate me. Some days are worse than others though. My pain is usually throughout my whole body, head to toe. Some days, it’s nerve pain, usually in my feet or hands; usually ibuprofen takes the pain away. Like I said, I am not in severe, debilitating pain.

I have tried a variety of over the counter topical pain relief but nothing actually worked. With that said, I had never tried Salonpas. Yeah, I know – I have been told many times to try it, but tell ya the truth, I really didn’t know what to get, which Salonpas product would help the most.

Well, luckily, I got to try a variety of Salonpas products – and yes, I have my favorites, only because these favorites help my topical nerve pain (results are typical and may not be for everyone).

I have had the chance to try a few of the Salonpas products, because luckily (not really lucky), I had a pretty bad flare up over the last month, which lasted for a few days. I have mentioned above that I get bad nerve pain on my right foot. It feels as though my foot is being torn in half and very bruised. So, I decided to try the Salonpas Deep Relieving Gel first. I rubbed it on my whole foot, top and bottom (the top is what hurts the most), put my sock back on and I promise you with in 5 minutes, I had no topical nerve pain. About an hour later, I was back in pain again, so I decided to try the Salonpas Pain Relieving Patch. These are a small patch (7.2cmx4.6cm). I applied the patch to the top of my foot, where the pain was most extreme. Put my sock back on and I finished how the day, with little to no pain.

A couple days went by, and the pain was back and more intense than ever. Ibuprofen wasn’t helping, so I decided to try one other patch I have been wanting to try, but I didn’t want to try it unless I really needed it – Salonpas Lidocaine 4% Pain Relieving Gel-Patch. This did it. Took all the pain from the top of my foot up into my ankle away.

In conclusion, with the three products I tried, I believe the Salonpas Lidocaine 4% worked best. Licocaine desensitizes nerve pain and yeah, that’s the issue I face – nerve pain.

I also received Salonpas Pain Relieving Gel-Patch Hot and Salonpas Jet Spray. I do have a daughter who dances and I am sure these will come in handy soon!
