Dilemma
Date: October 23, 2002
I have a dilemma
And I don’t know what to say
So I guess what I’ll do
Is take you back to that day
Back to the day I met this guy
Back to the day he told my heart a dreadful lie
He told me he loved me
He sounded quite true
The next thing I knew
He was telling me
“I don’t love you”
Even way after he was done
My love for him burned on and on
I love him so much
I can’t get him out of my head
Even when I try to sleep at night
He’s right there in my bed
No matter how deep I go with someone else
My heart just tells me
I need his touch
Now I have a new lover
Whom I love so much
And guess what
You’re telling me you need my touch
Maybe if you had told me this
A week or so ago

I would’ve gladly taken you back
But now you have to go
I certainly hope I’ve helped you realize
Love blows
You had my heart
So what did you do
You took it
You stomped on it
And told me “We’re through”
If you want it to be like
That I want you to know
Just realize this
Bucko
I’ll never take you back
You’re begging
You’re pleading
You want just one more chance
So did I
And what did you do
You turned
You ran
And you told me “We’re through”
Just one good reason
And I may take you back
But then again
I won’t
I don’t want you back
