Holiday Toy Idea: Clixo

The Holiday Gift Season is right around the corner so it isn’t too early to be thinking about or even purchasing gifts. One of my favorite things to look for when it comes to gifts are sensory toys and what I like to call “play experiences”. One of my fondest memories growing up is building stuff so I wanted to share that experience with my children! I recently discovered Clixo and I think they are so neat.

What is Clixo?

Clixo is an innovative and creative tool for kids that allows them to click and construct 3D creations from a flexible 2D shape and the power of magnets. The flexibility of the pieces allows a single shape to be bent and connected to make unique shapes. The best part is that Clixo is compact which makes it perfect for travel, they also stack for easy storage.

Clixo offers several different packs and I had the chance to check out the Itsy Pack which features 18 pieces and is a great starter pack.

The Itsy Pack features:

  • 2x Longy
  • 3x Flop
  • 1x Twodot
  • 3x Flap
  • 8x Quad
  • 1x Tridot

Our Experience:

While the toy is rated for 4+, I supervised my toddler and my 9-year-old step son and they both had a blast playing with it. I even played with it and had a blast because the possibilities are endless. The included guidebook is very helpful and they both really liked making the crown. This is a great toy for kids and kids at heart.

The Itsy Pack is available in 3 different color combos and sells for $29.99.
