When I was a child, I hated cherries. I mean, I really hated them. We had a cherry tree in our yard that my mother would pick from to make pies. I despised those pies and all things cherry! But as everything in life, as I got older, my tastebuds refined and allowed me to begin to try new things. It’s funny how we often remember back to our childhood likes and dislikes and bring those along with us into adulthood and still fear the things that we didn’t even give a proper chance to try. As an adult, I have tried many things I would never give a chance to when I was younger, but I still haven’t had anything with cherries since. I still throw cherries off of my ice cream.
Well, as with life, things have changed now that I got a chance to review Cheribundi I found at World Market! The one I was sent to review is the tart cherry juice. I had tried another one of their products and remembered liking it so I figured, if I’m gonna try to like something from my childhood I hated, I might as well do it with something that looks delicious!
I received a few of them from the company to review! As I always do before I take a drink of something new for the first time, I smelled the contents inside. It smells fantastic! Just to be sure I liked the flavor, I took a sip to gauge the taste. It is a bit strong at first, but after a couple of drinks, you can really see how amazing this juice is!
It is made with 100% juice and contains 50 cherries per 8 oz bottle. It is also gluten free and is not made from concentrate. Extremely fresh, I think my hatred for cherries has finally changed. Hey, maybe I’ll try a cherry on my ice cream next time, all thanks to Cheribundi!
