White Wizard Games Review #MRHGG2016

I have no shame, I am an avid gamer, as is the rest of my family. We love everything from board games, to RPG games, to something as simple as two player card game.  I was so excited when White Wizard Games wanted to send me three of their games to review – Hero Realms, Star Realms, and Epic.

Hero Realms

“Shared between all players is an 80-card Market Deck. The game begins with five cards from that deck revealed, creating the Market Row. As you play, you use gold to buy champion cards and action cards from the Market. These champions and actions can generate large amounts of gold, combat, or other powerful effects. You use combat to attack your opponent and their champions. When you reduce your opponent’s score (called health) to zero, you win!”

My boyfriend and I love this game because you can sit down and play a game within 30 minutes, even with a learning curve.  I love the extra players they sent with it so you could play with more payers if desired.  Fast paced and easy to learn.

Star Realms

If this is the case, the viagra prescription doctor can eliminate possible environmental factors from your past and past activities such as drug use, smoking, etc. Using these medications can sometimes also be confidence viagra canadian pharmacy boosting as it will help a man forget about performance anxiety and therefore be more relaxed, thus increasing his chances of getting aroused.

“Star Realms is a spaceship combat deckbuilding game designed by Magic Pro Tour Champions and Hall of Famers Darwin Kastle and Rob Dougherty (developer and cofounder of the Ascension Deckbuilding Game).  Star Realms is the winner of several awards, including the 2015 SXSW Tabletop Game of the Year award, four Golden Geek Awards for Best 2-Player Game, Best Card Game, Best Indie Game and Best Handheld Game, two Dice Tower Awards for Best Two-Player Game and Best Small Publisher, and Best Card Game: Fan Favorite at Origins 2015.”

Much like with all of these games, Star Realms is fast paced and easy to learn, and most matches last about 30 minutes.

Epic

“Epic Card Game™ is a great draft and sealed deck card game, right out of the box. If you are a trading card game veteran, you know what this means, and yes, it is every bit as awesome as you think it would be. If you haven’t played trading card games before, you are in for a real treat. Sealed and draft are incredibly fun! Unfortunately, with trading card games, they are also incredibly expensive ($10-$30 every time you play). But with Epic, you get the fun without that scary price tag. A single $15 box of Epic allows up to four people to play draft or sealed again and again with great game play every single time. With sealed, draft, and preconstructed decks, up to four players can play out of a single copy of the game. There is another way to play, called “constructed,” where each player needs their own copy of the game. In constructed, you build a deck at home using your entire Epic card collection to play against a friend who did the same thing. While Epic gives you the full trading card game experience at a tiny fraction of the cost, Epic is NOT a trading card game. There are no random packs or hard-to-get cards. When you buy the game, you get everything you need to play. You know exactly what cards you’re getting. There will be expansions down the road, but they are optional. You can literally play and enjoy hundreds of games with just the base set.”

Epic is a little different than the rest of these games.  Unlike with Hero and Star Realms, each turn you have one gold to spend, which adds a very interesting twist to the mix, because all of the powerful cards could be played the first turn.

All of these games are quick and easy to learn, which is great for teaching future generations to play.  If you would like to check out White Wizard Games and perhaps pick up your own, you can check them out on their website here.
