Dance With The Devil
April 12, 2012
He’s in my head
He’s on my mind
I think about him
Both day and night
Those sultry eyes
Those luscious lips
They way he makes my heart feel
My head is starting to trip
He grabs my waist
Trying to pull me in
I see right through
His dirty sin
As the room starts to spin
He grabs hold of me
With those bright red hands
I struggle to break free
Maybe just one dance
The fire starts to spit
As his halo starts to glow
Am I dancing with the Devil
Or does he have an Angels soul
I look into his eyes
Filled with fire and fright
His wings start to flap
As I gaze into those eyes
Lost in the pit
I fall deep inside
Seeing his Devil soul
Staining my Angel Eyes

I pull myself out of this trance
And snap back down to Earth
Realizing this dance
Is not at all near the worth
Not worth my soul
Not worth my time
I snap my fingers
As I pull out of the light
I come back to the footsteps
In which my leader stands
Falling to my knees
Asking for a helping hand
My soul has been tainted
Forever stained with red
This dance with the Devil
Has straightened out my head
Father forgive me
For I have sinned
I let his hands lead me
Away from Your throne
I have learned my lesson
You are my true love
I’m forever in Your hands
Dancing with the Devil
On this fateful night
Has made me realize
God’s in my soul
I’m seeing forever in His light
