As many of you know, I am not-so-closet gamer. We have game night nearly every weekend here at my house where my sister and her husband come over and we play until board games until our eyes are about to bug out of our heads. Zach (my boyfriend) and I go to card shops and play in card torments, and when Zach and I have free time, we like to lounge around and play on a game system, or a game on our phones with each other.

Needless to say PDP, or Performance Designed Products, didn’t have to twist my arm to partner up with them for this awesome gaming review!

They sent me 3 products to review: PS4 Bluetooth Communicator, an orange Rock Candy Xbox One controller, and a Peach Wired Fight Pad for WIIU.

Let’s start with the PS4 Bluetooth Communicator:

“The Afterglow Bluetooth Communicator for PlayStation 4 offers crystal clear communication for online gaming featuring a high comfort ear clip so you can play longer. Fully charged the Communicator allows for 10 hours of talk time and auto connects to last connected device. Compatible with most Bluetooth Devices, the Afterglow Bluetooth Communicator is also compatible with most mobile devices.

* Works for any device with Bluetooth capability

* Ergonomic design to reduce ear fatigue

* Flexible memory wire for a customized fit on either ear

* Speech-tuned mic for crisp, clear chat”

I can tell you that Afterglow Bluetooth headsets I have used have been a real life saver for online games, and are much more sleek and fashionable than the airplane style headsets.  I love that they’re versatile!

Next, let’s review the XBOX One Rock Candy Controller in Orange:

Note: I received the Orange controller, however, the only stock photo shown above is the Aqualime controller.

More about The XBOX ONE Rocky Candy Controller:

“Express yourself with your favorite color Rock Candy controller. Featuring colored polycarbonate shells, brilliant white accents, and only the essential components you need, these officially licensed controllers are built for fun. Perfect for gamers of all ages.

* Officially Licensed for Xbox One.

* SmartTrack analog stick technology.

* Removable 8 foot cable with breakaway.

* Vibration feedback rumble motors.

* Ergonomic concave thumb stick design.”

What I love most about this controller is the fact that is has a removable cord. I don’t know how you game, but I tend to pull and move my hand, as well as my controller, in the directions I want my character on the screen to move… I can’t even begin to count how many times my poor little system has ended up on the floor with the traditional corded controllers! I also love the four colors the controllers come in – Orange, Aqualime, Blueberry and Stormin Cherry. My personal favorite is the Aqualime!

Last, but certainly not least, the Peach Fight pad for the WiiU

Fight Pad

More about the fight pads:

“A Classic Controller Pro for the Nintendo Wii U inspired by the original Gamecube Controller. Available as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. The Wired Fight Pad is virtually wireless as it plugs directly into the Wii Remote Connector Port. Players can use the Wired Fight Pad for Wii/Wii U games that support the Classic Controller, the Classic Controller Pro, as well as Nintendo Virtual Console games.

* Officially Licensed by Nintendo

* Works perfect with Super Smash Bros Wii U

* Compatible with all Wii/Wii U games that support Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro, as well as most Nintendo Virtual Console games

* Replica GameCube Controller makes it the preferred Fight pad for the Super Smash Bros. fan

* Select your favorite Nintendo character – Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, or Yoshi”

The reason I picked the Peach one to review is, well, because this girl gamer not only loves her videos games, she also love her some pink! I love the throwback feel to this, seeing as with my WIIU they have eliminated the ability to use throwback games from the Wii/gamecube on it unless you buy them from the Wii store, it is rally nice to have a piece of my childhood and be able to use it. I love that is fits in the palm of my hand, and the cord is super long too!

Love these products, they certainly have gotten a customer for life out of me!
