I got the wonderful opportunity to review The Classic Red College Trunk from Dormco. Dormco is a company that specialized in household items for college kids and dorm college supplies.
When I first opened the box for the trunk, I did notice it’s a little bit smaller compared to all of my other trunks. I quickly noticed the beautiful red with silver outlay, and realized, after all, this is designed for a dorm room, so of course it will be smaller than the other trunks I own.
I opened the trunk and was really stunned by how deep it is. The depth of the trunk certainly makes up for the length missing! The smaller and compactness of the trunk also makes it much easier when moving stuff from room to room.
I own about 7 trunks, and I have noticed that when I open them to put stuff in, all the lids flop back. But not this Dormco Trunk. Why does it not flop, you ask? Because the sides are hinged – I have never seen a hinged trunk before.
The trunk is also lined with a beautiful brown canvas like material, which brings new life to the traditional trunk.
My mother likes this trunk so much that she asked me immediately for the website so she can go purchase her own trunk from Dormco!
