Since
we had a whole week in Vegas, we decided to plan a side trip to Hollywood, Burbank, and Los Angeles, California. Y’all know I couldn’t go to LA without visit one of my close friends, Pierre Bernard JR.
For those of you who know me as a person have heard me talk about Pierre in nothing but kind and thoughtful words. Those of you who have not heard me talk about Pierre, in a nutshell, he is an amazingly talented graphic artists who has been working with Conan for over 20 years. He has made several appearances on Conan and the many reincarnations of shows of Conan’s past, he was in an episode of Stargate, and Pierre also had a knack for all things geeky and scifi.
Long story short, I have had the pleasure of being his friend for going on 10 years now. Every year he comes to Dragon*Con, and this time, we met on his turf, and he was gracious enough to take me and my boyfriend on a tour of the WB studio lot, including the Conan set, where we entered through the door the guests enter.

d pages about the wonderful things that have been filmed on this WB lot, but I will just name a few of the ones I was able to recognize, and that out gracious tour guide told me about: Smallville, ER, Original Batman, Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives, (where we actually got to go inside one of the houses) and Fuller House.
This was one of the highlights of my trip, and Pierre made it extra special, because he took time of his busy schedule to come and show up around his place of work. Yeah, sure, we could have paid $60 apiece to go on a professional tour, but it was much nicer and a lot more personal having Pierre show us the ropes.
