I am back again to talk to you about a newer product by Shark.
Shark Ion Robot. It cleans, docks, recharges – automatically!
The Shark Ion Robot can connect to wifi, for you to control cleaning and schedule your robot to clean during the day without pushing a button! You can download the app from iTunes, Google Play or use voice control using Amazon’s Alexa. I have mine set for every day to run an hour at 8 am, the only issue is you have to be connected to wifi on your device for the robot to run during a scheduled run. But, other than that, all you have to do is press the start button and let it run, then press the dock button to dock it, if wifi is unavailable to you.
Shark’s Ion Robot has a Smart Sensor Navigation – which seamlessly navigates your floors and carpets and will adapt to surrounding obstacles. The robot also comes with magnetic strips to lay down where you don’t want the robot to go. For example, my robot runs upstairs on hardwood floors, so I added a magnetic strip at the edge of the stairs, so my robot won’t fall down the steps and break. I love it!
The self-cleaning brush roll captures short and long hair, plus dust, dander, and allergens! I have to say, that I don’t sweep the floors anymore! The robot gets everything – there is less dust, fur balls and dander from my dogs on the floor and it’s so nice to walk around barefoot without gross stuff collecting to the bottom of your feet! LOL! I also tested this. I swept the living room, hallway, dining room and the kitchen (this is where I allow my robot to clean), I swept up a lot of dog hair and dander, crumbs and so forth. I then let the robot run for 1 hour and the results were amazing (check out the pictures!)! I am so happy to have my little cleaning machine in my life!
The robot also has DUAL spinning side brushes to pull that debris from edges and corners. Perfect for edging!
I can’t boast enough about Shark’s Ion Robot! It’s simply amazing and a time saver when it comes to cleaning! I can do other things in the house while my robot is vacuuming the floors, then I can finish up and mop when it’s done! It fits perfectly into my hectic schedule!
