Do your kids love to help you cook, like mine do? Or do you want to teach them to help you cook? Good news, there is a new company called Rookie Chef, where they offer parents cooking materials made especially for children!

The Rookie Island Cart is the perfect size for children! The cart come with a full butchers block top – perfect for cutting on. The set is almost fully made out of bamboo, so it’s super sturdy! Of course the construction has to be top quality; it’s made for kids!

When I received the Rookie Island Cart, I knew I was going to have to put it together. Please note, the packaging is VERY heavy! Putting it together was not very hard and she also sends a video with step by step instruction and the package also comes with a step by step manual. I used both instructions, because that’s just how I roll :D! All in all, it took me about 2 hours to complete the setup, even with children running around! HAHA!

My kids really like their new cooking accessory! They are able to cut their own apples and slice their own cheese and so forth. We have a ton of fun using the Mixer Upper by making pudding, chocolate pudding that is!
