Lover’s Lane

Date: March 13, 2012

Don’t fall for her

Don’t let her win tonight

Don’t let yourself get hurt

Don’t leave your guard aflight

If you fall for her

You’ll be a fool

But down on lovers lane

We tend to think that’s cool

Down on lovers lane

I wipe my weary eyes

Down on lovers lane

I can feel the sparks fly

Such a lovely beginning

To my mind’s end

Down on lovers lane

My soul will start to mend
