Review: Mamma Chia

Review: Mamma Chia

This review is brought to you by Mamma Chia Brand Vitality Drinks & Snacks.

I received 6 different flavors of mamma chia squeeze pouches and 2 different bags of vitality granola.  The flavors included for the squeeze pouches were, blackberry bliss, mango coconut, strawberry banana, wild raspberry, apple cinnamon & green magic.  The flavors of the granola were vanilla almond clusters & wild blueberry clusters.  I immediately was drawn to the blackberry bliss, so I tried that one first.  The taste and smell were excellent.  The blackberry really stands out and the seeds are small enough to slide right down. I also noticed that they have screw on lids, which is also pretty cool!

As I went through the rest of the pouches the ones that really stood out were the strawberry banana & the mango coconut. The strawberry banana pouch tasted amazing, it may be my favorite one. They did a great job blending the flavors together on these.  The mango coconut stood out because of the strength of the coconut.  I’ve never really been a fan of coconut, but boy, am I now.  The apple cinnamon pouch made a great on the go snack for breakfast and the wild raspberry one was excellent for dessert.  One taste of these delicious pouches will have you hooked and wanting more.  Plus, it doesn’t hurt that there’s only 70 calories in each pouch.

The clusters were both very delicious. They were crunchy and the flavors really stand out. Of the two, the blueberry one is definitely my favorite. You can taste the real blueberries. These would be perfect for a small snack or as an addition to your favorite morning cereal or yogurt.  In every serving there is 10 grams of protein, and 1500mg of Omega 3’s.

They’re also gluten free and made from 100% whole grains.

The last thing I should mention is that they are soy and dairy free.  One serving is 120 calories and leaves you filling pretty full.  They also have built in a resealable zipper to keep them fresh.  These might be a bit hard to find at the grocery store, so be sure to check out their site to find out where you can get a bag of one of these wonderful organic snacks!
