While enjoying 13 years in beautiful Knowlton, Québec, running the Station Knowlton Country Store that we created, my wife Marie and I noticed our two young girls taking more of an interest in cosmetics and skincare.
When we looked for fun and healthy products for our kids to use we noticed a lot of nasty chemicals and ingredients in the majority of them.
We saw a clear opportunity to do better, for the sake of our children and the sake of yours too, and decided to launch a new and exciting business.
Our company, now called Kiss Naturals, produces fun, one-of-a-kind DIY craft kits using only high quality natural ingredients. These kits make everyday products you can enjoy at an affordable price. Products like lip balms, bath fizzies and glycerin soaps.
At Kiss Naturals, we believe that nature got it right the first time. We don’t add fillers, additives, dyes or synthetics to any of our products. We simply use nature’s ingredients in their purest form.

The Review
I love arts and crafts that both adults and kids get involved with and can build and create things together. I also love creating things with my 4 year old niece. When KISS Naturals offered to send us a few of their sets for us to share with you, I jumped right on it.
The four sets they sent me are as follows:
Lip Balm – Keep your lips smooth and soft with this all natural lip balm kit. Learn about what goes into lip balms when you mix the beeswax, Shea butter and safflower oil to get the perfect formulation. Whether you choose to put it in a jar, or a twist-up tube, your all natural lip balm will seal in moisture to protect the thin skin of your lips whether it’s cold, hot, rain or shine! Glycerin Soap – Clear and clean, our vegetable based glycerine soap kits help you make up to 16 great smelling soaps with naturally derived fragrances in a host of great shapes. Fun to make and use in the tub or sink, it’s just good, clean fun! (Makes 16)
Bath Fizzie – Let the fun bubble to the surface with our natural Bath Fizzie kit. Mix our all natural “Secret Formula” with our naturally derived fragrances and soothing Witch Hazel to make fun shaped bath fizzies for tickly, effervescent fun in the bath. Includes silicone mould, two natural fragrances and 1 secret formula (either pink or blue). (Makes 8)
Lava Lip Gloss – Natural oils keep your lips shiny with this groovy 60s inspired lip gloss with a brightly coloured, independently flowing blob of glycerin colour in the mixture. Just give the tube a shake and be mesmerized as the two layers move and flow but stay separate. Includes three natural glycerin based colours. (Makes 6)
First thing I have to say about KISS Naturals is, like the name of the company suggests, everything is derived from all natural ingredients. Unlike most other lip glosses and DIY kits, KISS Naturals prides themselves on using only natural ingredients to make a fun and safe kit for you and your family to build and create your own products!
Half the fun of the finished product of these kits is getting there! I love how easy they are to build, and I also love that they include everything you need and you have the supplies you need in the future to make more product – all you have to buy is ingredients!

Are these products gluten free? I am looking at the lip balm/lip gloss kit for kids. My daughter has celiac disease and I’ve been looking for a DIY lip gloss kit that is gluten free. I see that the ingredients and naturally derived which is great, but it just says “natural flavors” which can still mean it has wheat, ect.
