Great Gifts for your Beauty Obsessed Teen | Makeup

In today’s compilation of Great Gifts for your Beauty Obsessed Teen, I will be showing you some makeup!

Mom’s this can be for you as well if you are just as obsessed with makeup as I am, but these are great ideas for your teen daughter!

Having a clean canvas is the best way to start off putting makeup on, but having a primed canvas is easier and priming your face before adding any foundation will help the foundation go on even and smooth.

I have always loved MAYBELLINE FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Illuminate Primer. This primer blurs, making pores look like they are not there. The illuminate in this primer also helps with making your face look bright! I use this every time before I put on foundation, I also use it as an eyeshadow primer as well all by itself, when I feel that my skin looks dull and needs a pick me up!

If your daughter struggles with red or dull skin this next product is to die for!

MAYBELLINE FaceStudio Master Camo Color Correcting Pen comes in 6 different colors. You put these colors on over your primer, so you get the best benefit from these colors. I will explain what each color represents below –

  • Green: cancels out redness and is created for all skin tones
  • Yellow: brightens dullness and is created for light-to-medium skin tones
  • Apricot: neutralizes dark circles and is created for light-to-medium skin tones
  • Red: neutralizes dark circles and is created for deep skin tones
  • Blue: neutralizes sallowness and is created for fair to light skin tones
  • Pink: brightens dullness and is created for light skin tones

Not all colors are needed of course. The green is perfect for reddened skin and the pink is perfect for under the eyes, just to liven them up.

To finish up your look use FaceStudio Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder. This will blur even more and keep your makeup where it’s at without melting off your face! And after the powder spray on some FaceStudio Master Fix Wear Boosting Setting Spray – this spray I live for! My daughter is a competition dance and we are all about makeup NOT coming off for at least 12 hours. The setting spray will boost the length of your makeup and will not rub off throughout the day. If you need an extra boost throughout the day, spray your face again!

I am a single mom to 6 children – three teens & three under 10. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, graduated high school in St. Louis in 1998 (that should tell you how old I am!).

I consider myself an ambivert… Ambiverts are people who don’t really prefer one way of functioning over another. In other words, you could say they’re the neutral, middle-ground hippies. They’re equally comfortable in situations where the introvert feels most at home and situations where the extrovert is having a good time. …so yeah, I can be both and feel comfortable in any setting I am put in. Except, I would rather text or email rather than talk on the phone, haha!

I have been blogging and reviewing off and on for several years; it all started when I won a giveaway for a book – hooked ever since. What can you expect from me? Family friendly recipes, household items and decor, makeup and beauty reviews, and giveaways!
