5 Essential Beauty Products for Spring
Oh, excuse me I said Spring – my bad – but it feels like summer already. Unfortunately, the season is still Spring, so by now, we all should start stepping up our game with these essential beauty products that I picked out to help you out this Spring season.
1. Humidity Rx – Anti-Frizz Weatherproof Spray by Colorproof
We have all been there; caught in the rain or out an about in the dense humidity. Colorproof came up with a weatherproof “waterproof” spray. This is NOT a hairspray! Basically, AFTER your hair is styled the way you want, use Humidity Rx as a finishing, waterproof, weatherproof spray! It’s like waterproofing your hair, to keep the moist air OUT of your hair! 100% a must if you live or are traveling to a state/country filled with humid air!

I can’t stress to you enough – even if you use conditioner, I highly recommend using a leave-in before blow drying your hair. I have tried MANY straighteners and this one by far outweighs any other straightener I have ever tried. There is no pulling of hair. This straightener claims to have a 24-hour frizz control, with a smooth one pass glide. I already have straight hair to an extent. It’s nice to be able to have straighter hair – much more polished look, in my opinion. Always remember to add a heat protector to you lovely locks before adding any kind of heat to your hair!
4. Natural Face Moisturizer SPF 30 by Block Island Skin Care
This one probably should have been first on my list, because your face is your first and foremost most damaged when it comes to UV rays. I always try and use some sort of face moisturizer with some SPF in it, but most of us fail because we don’t think that low UV rays can hurt our skin, but it can! This face moisturizer should not be used if swimming or sweating because it is not waterproof – this should be used under makeup or just as an everyday moisturizer! Block Island Sun Care face moisturizer uses clear zinc and is vegan free. There is no parabens, sulfates or phthalates, dye, and fragrance-free.
5. Daily Moisture Lotion by Lubriderm – Normal to Dry Skin
Ok, I know what your thinking ‘It’s warm out my skin won’t be dry’ or ‘It’s too hot to wear lotion’. Our skin still needs moisture, no matter if you think it doesn’t. Especially using a lotion filled with vitamins that your precious, delicate skin needs, like Vitamin B5! Using lotion is best when you first dry off our of the shower – your pores are open which is the perfect time to apply lotion to be the most effective! I might have to try this sunscreen. I was just talking with a friend about finding a good one that works great! I was told to stay out of the sun because my face has sun damage but I just love it so I just need to work on finding a better sunscreen!! Thank you for sharing.

I’s like that anti frizz spray! I’ll chop my hair quite short soon, so I need something that will keep it in place.
I love my Julep face sunscreen, but it’s getting low so I need to try yours out!
I haven’t heard of any of these brands except Lubriderm, to which I’ve never tried. I’d definitely pick this one up as I see it literally everywhere!
