On the Road with Cracker Barrel

I remember when I was younger taking road trips up to my grandmother’s house and stopping at Cracker Barrel on the way.  I always have loved looking around the shop and seeing all the retro candy and down home favorites.  Now that I am older and traveling around with my Wingman, I love stopping at Cracker Barrel and having a giant meal with southern hospitality like I have not seen at any other restaurants.

One of the great things I love about Cracker Barrel is they have breakfast all day.  So if we come in at, say, 6pm and want pancakes for dinner, that is what I get – pancakes for dinner.  When my boyfriend and I stopped while running some errands, I was indecisive on what I wanted, so I went with my normal The Cracker Barrel’s Country Boy Breakfast (I got double hashbrown casserole instead of the fried apples).

Cracker Barrel never fails to amaze me.  The quality of the food does not vary restaurant to restaurant, and I can always count on the down home environment, no matter what state I’m in.
