After a few hours at this event trying to get someone else’s attention at the event, I walked over the side of the banister, and started yelling at Ashton in the distance. I believe that he genuinely meant that statement, as shortly after our meeting I saw him take the jersey off his back and give it to a young kid, while this other person couldn’t even take the time to sign an autograph for a fan.
That minute and a half Ashton took to talk to me, I just wish he knew how much it meant to me. It was nice to walk away from this experience knowing there are genuine celebrities out there and that not all of them blow fans off. Just goes to show you how much a simple handshake can change someone’s thoughts about everything.
