vc_logo
Today marks the first day of the Advent Season. This marks a special day not only waiting on Jesus’ birthday, but a special time for us to teach our children what this special season means to most Christians. I was brought up Catholic – went to a Catholic grade school and high school, so December is very nostalgic for me and I love to share this time with my children.

What is Advent?

Advent (Latin for coming or waiting) marks the beginning of the Christmas Season – waiting on the coming or birth of Jesus.
